This painting is about the connection between sisters or close female friends. If we find that bond that stays with us throughout everything, we should really cherish it. The narrative I was thinking of here is that the two women made a daisy chain together for one to wear on her wedding day. The soft colours of pink and green give a soft, gentle atmosphere.
